  Course Overview

PRINCE2® stands for PRojects IN Controlled Environments. It is a process-based approach to project management. It offers a customizable and scalable methodology for efficiently handling a variety of projects regardless of their size and type. PRINCE2® Foundation is the entry level of PRINCE2® certification. AXELOS has announced an update to all certifications of PRINCE2®. The main aim of this update is to enable delegates to apply PRINCE2® methodologies to the projects. In PRINCE2® Foundation course delegates will cover the basic principles of the PRINCE2® project management approach, and it's other components like themes, principles, techniques, processes, and templates.

Pentagon Training’s PRINCE2® Foundation course helps the delegates to acquire a comprehensive and practical understanding of key concepts used in PRINCE2®.

Our certified instructors make the training entertaining by giving real world examples to the delegates. The candidates will get to know about the implementation of various principles and processes within the organisation for better project management. The aim of this course is to ensure that delegates gain the skills and knowledge required to effectively act as a member of a project management team, and make use of PRINCE2® methods.

 

Examination

For the PRINCE2® Foundation examination, basic project management knowledge is required, and there are no eligibility criteria. Delegates will get the PRINCE2® Foundation certification if they pass the exam.  According to the PRINCE2® 2017 update, the Configuration Management topic has been removed. Questions of the exam are more focused on tailoring PRINCE2® in projects. The syllabus covers all the seven PRINCE2® themes, and negative questions are also removed. A number of list questions have also been reduced.

Exam structure of PRINCE2® Foundation Certification is:

  • Multiple choice formats
  • Number of questions  60
  • Reasoning questions are excluded
  • Duration of this exam is 60 minutes
  • Required pass percentage is 55% or 33/60

About London

Capital of the most populous city of England, London, is located on River Thames in the south east island of Great Britain. London came into being as Londonium in AD 43 when the Romans invaded it.
